02.24.2007 - this is really happening
You know what is terrible? When, out of the kindness of your heart, you let someone merge into the lane in front of you and instead of giving you a little 'thank you' wave, they act as if they are doing you some sort of honor and give you a dirty look. Man, that kind of stuff is upsetting. Luckily, I am not one to let something like that ruin my whole day, instead I'll let the fact that I am working on a Saturday put me in a late-February-slump.
But enough about me...how are you guys doing? Please let us know in an E-mail! We are always interested in how you are feeling and what is on your mind, so tell us some things.
Moving on...Visitors will be playing a day-show during SXSW at 1906 Gallery. We are excited about this show because there will be free beer and hopefully mad hotties. The show is on March 16th in the afternoon, come enjoy some art, free beer, and hot dudes playing music. (that's us!)
CD is finished and should be ready for purchasing very shortly. HOLLA AT YOUR BOYS.

02.12.2007 - What happened to 2006?
The other day a friend of mine brought to my attention that we didn't update the "news" section of our site once during 2006. How did that happen? We played shows, recorded a million songs and wrote a million more, loved, learned, laughed and cried. Ok, so maybe we mostly cried, but we still should have kept up with this site. I blame everyone's (including our own) dependence on Myspace. Well, my little visitorskickback.com, I am vowing to you today to keep you up to date with all of our most current and important happenings.
I've got two such things to tell you about right now:
1) We just finished recording our debut album over at WWIV and we're trying to figure out the best way to get it to you. Its 13 songs and clocks in right at 45 minutes.
2) We're playing this Friday the 16th at Beauty Bar with Rory And The Artificial Heart and Human Being Lawnmower. Beauty Bar Austin is pretty small, so come help us pack it.

12.13.2005 - How ATX got her groove back
Hello everyone, how are you doing? For the fellow Texans in this house,
I hope that you have been enjoying this weather. Who knew that icicles could
survive down here. For everyone else, good news. We are playing a show this month.
Lately we have been working on writing new material and trying to get inspiration
in order to make a video. That should be happening pretty soon, we are just waiting
on the word from Diddy -- he's supposed to be getting Mariah and JT to come up
with some ideas.
Anyway, this show is the second installation of Everyone Knows Everyone. We all had
a lot of fun at the last one of these and are again looking forward to the music and
art that is involved. I am also looking forward to drinking..a lot.
If you will be in Austin on the 23rd, come out and have a great time. Even if you aren't
into music, art, or having a good time, come on out and we can tell you some jokes.
Everyone loves jokes.

We are currently planning some shows for outside of Austin, so if you have any
suggestions or would like for us to play your city, contact us. As always, thanks for
being there; you will forever remind us of the relatives we always felt kind of weird
for being slightly attracted to. Happy Holidays

October 26, 2005 - Ghost Night Approaches
That's right Y'all, Halloween is this weekend and in celebration
Visitors will be playing a little Ghost Warming Party on Saturday.
Dont believe it? Check out the flyer below. This should be an interesting
experience, so come out and let us help you lose your mind. It's free and
there should be some beer, but as we all have learned throughout our time
on Earth, it's always a good idea to think ahead and pack a few 40oz bottles
of your favorite Malt Liquor. Also, bring us a 6-pack of Sparks
Love,
Visitors
September 20, 2005 - Birthday Celebration
Yes. Yes. Yes!!! Visitors will be playing this Saturday
September, 24, 2005 at the Velvet Spade, located on Red River and 10th st.
next door to Club Deville. It's going to be a party, sponsored by Trojan Condoms
and put on by our local favorites
The Austinist.
Other bands on the bill include, Belaire, Interest Kills, Peel, and
The Black Angels. This show is FREE and will surely be the best part
of the Austin-palooza that's more widely known as ACL Fest. Also, I will be turning
25 next week, so this is a perfect opportunity for you to come out and wish me the best.

As a special treat, consider it a birthday present from myself to you, for a short time
the four songs that Visitors recorded with Rory Phillips will be available to download.
Please, feel special. The songs can be accessed and downloaded
here
We can't wait to see you on Saturday.

July 20 - Texas Government is Bullshit
After a short hiatus due to our bassist finishing up school and
nick being stuck in the prison that is the Texas Legislative Council
due to a special session, Visitors is preparing to rev up and get the
ball moving. With 3 shows coming up, visitors is continuing to write
new songs in preparation of recording a full-length that will surely
be a treat. Check the shows page for GIG information. Also,
someone help us make a video. any ideas?

May 26 - Everyone Knows Everyone
May 10 - Everyone Watch Out!
That's right, I've decided not to hide in the past any longer
and have learned how to post an update.
News: We are currently working on writing new songs for you.
Our next show is on June 2 at Emo's, check the Shows section
for more information.
That's all for now, send us love via email.

April 29 - Pecan Street Festival?
I think I broke this website last time I tried to update,
so hopefully that won't happen again. I'm just here to tell
you that we're playing this Sunday at the Pecan Street Festival
at 5PM. We're playing on the 101X stage, and that's because
we're the hottest nu metal act around. Come watch us sell
out.

March 22 - Last minute show - tonight!
We're playing TONIGHT in San Antonio at The Sanctuary with
Recover and Say Anything. I'd have told you about it sooner,
but we just got put on this thing about 30 minutes ago. I
know what you're thinking - "but..but...Jason, I've gotta
do laundry tonight and I have to be at work at 7am." Fuck
that shit. Wear a trashbag to work tomorrow. And show up at
noon. Tonight, you need to come party and celebrate Tuesday
the way it was meant to be celebrated.
-Jason
March 07 - New Show
We just got added onto a show Tuesday the 15th at the CO-OP
Bar. I've never been there, but I'm told its at 6th and Trinity.
Its a pre-SXSW show, whatever that means. You should come.
It will be like an appetizer for the show on the 17th.

March 01
How's life? It's pretty good over here. Our friend Justin
stole our password and put up this site because he was tired
of looking at the piece of shit that I made. I owe you one,
or maybe two, Justin.
We just finished recording some songs at World War IV, and
I've gotta say, they got it goin' on. I think all of the tracks
are available to stream in our music
section, and we are working on getting them available at our
shows...some sort of EP or demo. Let's call it a demo for
now. "EP" makes it sound like someone besides us
actually gives a shit.
We're playing at Spiderhouse during SXSW, on Thursday, 3/17
at 6PM. I'm pretty sure its free, and it's definitely early
enough that you can still make it out to all the "official"
SXSW shows you want to go to.
